Welcome Jennie Moore

Jennie, who joins the team as Head of Accounting (CA), will be using her passion for Fintech and extensive knowledge from testing and reviewing apps to provide valuable insights to small business owners and accounting professionals. Jennie has worked with apps in the accounting ecosystem to provide feedback and perspective around product functionality and customer support.

As a bookkeeper, Jennie has been able to identify the challenges many accounting professionals face when adopting technology. She speaks from her own experience of revolutionizing her practice Moore Details Inc – a boutique bookkeeping firm she started from scratch 14 years ago and transformed from a paper workflow into a digital masterpiece. Jennie devotes her time to creating content to support her social learning initiative in social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube and Instagram.

When not playing with Fintech, you can find Jennie consuming a delicious cupcake, spending time with her family and learning how to homestead or finding her inner zen while figure skating at her local rink.

Welcome Josh Lance

Along with the appointment of Jennie, we’re excited to welcome Joshua Lance to the team as Head of Accounting (US). Josh brings a depth of experience in the accounting industry working with clients to grow their businesses and in the higher education world teaching the future leaders of tomorrow.

Josh is the Managing Director of Lance CPA Group, a firm he founded over five years ago that provides cloud accounting, tax, and consulting services to craft breweries and digital agencies across the United States. In leading Lance CPA Group, Josh has been on the forefront of building a fully virtual and remote based CPA firm leveraging the best cloud based technology to assist their clients grow and manage their businesses. Josh’s leadership in the accounting industry saw him named in CPA Practice Advisor’s 40 under 40 in 2017, 2018, and 2019. It also led to appointments on Illinois CPA Society’s Board of Directors and AICPA’s Private Companies Practice Section’s Executive Committee.

In his free time, Josh loves spending time with his wife and two children, going to some of the great restaurants in Chicago, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Everton FC.

Jennie and Josh join Practice Ignition following our A$26M Series B round last year, and will play a key role in educating accounting and bookkeeping firms on how to leverage technology to grow their practices.
